Music at Mahan (formerly Good Times at the Gazebo) is a free, weekly Saturday night concert series in Mahan Park featuring a variety of musical talent. Two hours of live music starts at 7pm unless otherwise noted.

Walk the Beat is a volunteer nonprofit organization that builds communities through music. We create opportunities for musical education, relationships and performance. Walk the Beat brings musicians to audiences in unexpected places.

Rancho Tranquilico is a vibrant music show located in the charming town of Dexter, MI. Michael & The Heavy Burden is an Alt-Americana roots rock band from the Ann Arbor/Detroit area, known for blending folk-inspired acoustic melodies with gritty electric guitar riffs and pop-infused choruses. Their groove-heavy live shows have earned them a loyal fan base, thanks to high-energy performances and songs that resonate with themes of love, loss, and resilience.

A three-day festival showcasing some of the outstanding music we have in Michigan. Covering a wide spectrum of styles, this festival includes everything from punk to folk with a splash of country and a big helping of rock.

Since 2010, our oldest event the BlueChiliGrass Festival has fostered the perpetuation of traditional American music by regional performers and to celebrate the All-American flavor of chili and homespun arts and crafts in a family-oriented setting. The demand for the BCGF continued to grow and in 2015 it became a two-day music festival and would feature out of town Michigan bands. Music and friendship aren’t the only things to be enjoyed at the BCGF. The festival features local vendors, free crafts, and activities for the kids and of course, a one day Chili-Cook Off featuring local food establishments

July 25, 2025, 6p-8pm, Friday at the Flats at the Celery Flats Pavilion in the wonderful City of Portage. Join J. Michael & The Heavy Burden on the fourth Friday of July for Groovin' tunes and dinner experiences from a range of food trucks. Seating is limited, but lawn space is plentiful, so bring a blanket or chair. Connect with your family and friends at Celery Flats through food, live music, and fun. Free. It will be packed.

Come out for some sweet summertime hangs, as we vie for a grand prize of studio recording time at the fabulous Third Coast Recording Studio, plus an opportunity for other live performance endeavors. Cannot wait to see you all there to vote!! Walk the Beat Street Music Festival is a signature event in Albion, Grand Haven, and the White Lake Area throughout the summer. The festivals bring together community, businesses, and organizations with musicians and bands to offer a one-day free music event to the public. It also supports nonprofits through a raffle at the festival. Grand Haven also sponsors a variety of community events throughout the year.
